Hi, my name is Ric Chandler and i love music!!

I’m a professional Drummer, Producer, Composer, and Educator with 36 years of experience performing and recording worldwide.

I am also a member of the band Lung.

I am what most people would call a 'Very successful' Musician, Travelling all over the world and working as a Drummer with five number-one selling artists Worldwide - Gary Numan, Calvin Harris, Modern English, Tricky, Amy Studt -19 Management U.K, and  Jimmy James & The Vagabonds........ I have also performed on many iconic TV shows around the world such as Jimmy Fallon - USA, Top of the pops - U.K, Friday night live - U.K, Nulle Part Ailleurs (NPA) -France.

I Love transmitting my excitement for music to my students through my 'Drum Academy' - 1 on 1 Drum Coaching and have been Educating drummers, since 38 years because i am passionate about sharing my years of experience and knowledge with those wanting to learn.

Over the years i have spoken and performed at many Drum clinics, Drum Schools and events with Legendary Drummers such as  - Billy Cobham and Haracio 'El Negro' Hernadez for Pearl drums/Zildjian Cymbals, where i realised the need to share my experience, knowledge and passion for music with drummers, to EQIUPT, MOTIVATE and EDUCATE them in developing the skills, and MINDSETS they need to reach their full potential behind the kit and in their careers. 

This is why 38 years ago i developed the  'Drum Academy' - 1 on 1 Drum Coaching , designed for drummers, who already have the basics in place and are ready to take their playing to the next level.
